Ever wondered why we have Axiwi written across our shirts?

Axiwi has been a huge supporter of the team since we started 3 years ago.  Anybody who has been involved in rugby will know just how difficult it is to secure a sponsor, never mind one as good as Axiwi.  The Dutch company provided their duplex radio sets to us in the beginning and enabled us to trade as a supplier of their equipment into the sport of rugby, raising valuable funds for referee kit and other equipment.

That amaing and continued support aside, Axiwi is still the premier communication system for match officials in many different sports from rugby to football, hockey to netball.  It also has so many valuable uses in industry, hospitality as well as tourism.

Being a duplex system all the officials can talk at once, rather like a conference call to give real time input, not like the old days of cumbersome PTT that even the on field referee had to search for a button.  For sporting applications you can add a TMO, timekeeper and assessors can listen in without the need for a sound engineer, repeater and different backpacks.  Of course the TV feed can also use the Axiwi units for on-screen comms.
